Description:
This portable C2H6 ethane gas detector is a professional safety measuring instrument for ethane leakage and explosion risk warning. Ethane is a typical combustible component in natural gas, oil‑gas associated gas and petrochemical by‑product gas, widely distributed in natural gas mining, refinery workshop, oil‑gas storage tank and transmission pipeline. Once ethane leaks and accumulates in air, it will reach explosive concentration and bring severe fire and explosion threats to field personnel. This detector is equipped with high‑stability catalytic combustion sensor, with fast response, low zero drift and stable measuring performance. It continuously collects and displays real‑time C2H6 concentration data of ambient air. When detection value reaches preset alarm threshold, sound‑light dual alarm will be activated, reminding operators to cut off gas source, enhance ventilation and troubleshoot leakage points timely. Adopting ergonomic lightweight handheld housing, the device supports long‑time on‑site patrol and confined space inspection. Adjustable alarm threshold and low power consumption satisfy daily safety patrol, equipment leak detection and emergency inspection for petrochemical plants, natural gas stations and pipeline overhaul sites.
